You’ve booked the trip. The tees are set. Now you just need to get your clubs to the course in one piece without lugging around a tank of a hard case. That’s where the best soft sided golf travel bag with wheels comes in. After testing and researching the top options on the market, the … Read more
If you walk and carry, you know the truth. A bag that says “4 pounds” on the scale can feel like 8 by the 14th hole if the straps are bad, the balance is off, or the stand wobbles on every sidehill lie. I’ve spent the last few months carrying each of these bags for … Read more
You don’t need a bag that looks good in the shop. You need one that won’t stink of mildew by August. I learned this the hard way. My first bag after moving to the Gulf Coast looked great for about three months. Then the zippers started sticking. Then came the smell, that damp, sour smell … Read more
You’re standing on the 12th tee. The sky was gray when you started, but now it’s opening up. That first drop hits your arm. By the time you pull your driver, the grip is already slick. You reach for your rain hood, but it’s buried under a wet towel. Sound familiar? I’ve been there more … Read more
If you’re reading this, I’m guessing you’ve already felt that familiar ache somewhere around the 12th hole. You know that sinking feeling. You’re three holes in, the sky opens up, and your towel is already a sopping mess. You grab it to dry your grips and end up transferring more water onto your hands than you wiped off. I’ve been there more times than I care to count. That’s why I set … Read more
Nothing ruins a good round faster than sweat dripping into your eyes on the 10th tee. Or worse, that slippery grip that makes you yank a shot into the trees. I’ve been there more times than I’d like to admit. If you’re looking for a golf towel that absorbs sweat fast, you’ve probably noticed that … Read more
Why Most Towels Fail When Things Get Wet I still remember the round that broke me. Rain had been coming down sideways since the third hole, and by the fifth, my towel was a soggy rag that did nothing but smear dirt around. I tried to clean my 7-iron, made it worse, then nearly launched … Read more
Every golfer knows the frustration. You reach for your towel to clean a club, and all it does is smear the dirt around. The grass stays stuck in the grooves. The water beads up instead of soaking in. You squeeze the towel, and it’s already saturated. That’s the moment you realize not all golf towels … Read more
