Nothing ruins a good round faster than sweat dripping into your eyes on the 10th tee. Or worse, that slippery grip that makes you yank a shot into the trees. I’ve been there more times than I’d like to admit. If you’re looking for a golf towel that absorbs sweat fast, you’ve probably noticed that … Read more
Why Most Towels Fail When Things Get Wet I still remember the round that broke me. Rain had been coming down sideways since the third hole, and by the fifth, my towel was a soggy rag that did nothing but smear dirt around. I tried to clean my 7-iron, made it worse, then nearly launched … Read more
Every golfer knows the frustration. You reach for your towel to clean a club, and all it does is smear the dirt around. The grass stays stuck in the grooves. The water beads up instead of soaking in. I used to carry around a soggy cotton towel that did more smearing than drying. After one wet hole, it was useless, heavy, cold, and completely saturated. You know the feeling. You bend down to grab your towel; it’s slid off the cart, landed in wet grass, and now your hands are dirty before you’ve even hit the shot. That’s the problem both of these products are trying to solve: the no-bend, stays-put promise. But here’s where it gets interesting: the magnetic … Read more
You know the feeling. You line up your shot, club in hand, and the face is caked with mud and grass from that last approach. You grab your towel, give it a good swipe, and… the dirt just smears around. Now your towel is a wet, dirty rag that’s more trouble than it’s worth. What … Read more
For months, I kept seeing the same two phrases on every golf towel listing: microfiber and waffle weave, but nobody ever explained what they actually meant for my game.
