You don’t need a fancy $40 towel. You need one that clips on tight, cleans your grooves, and doesn’t fall apart after three washes. I’ve been using the same freebie towel from a tournament for way too long, and honestly, I was tired of it slipping off my bag and leaving lint on my irons. … Read more

You know the feeling. It’s the 12th hole, the sun is beating down, and your glove is soaked. You wipe your forehead with a regular towel, but it’s already wet and warm. Your grip starts slipping. You’re not just hot — you’re frustrated. I’ve been there more times than I can count. So what’s the … Read more

I’ve been that guy. The one with a soggy hand towel draped over my bag, a separate brush rattling around in a side pocket, and a divot tool I can never find when I need it. After a wet morning round, my clubs looked like they’d been through a mud wrestling match. Grooves packed solid. … Read more

I pulled my usual towel out after a wet round last spring. The grooves on my irons were still caked with mud. I wiped, rinsed, and wiped again. By the time I gave up, I’d soaked through three towels and still had dirt in the scoring lines. That’s when I stopped assuming all golf towels … Read more

You can have the most expensive driver in the world, but if your clubface is caked in mud and grass, you’re not hitting anything clean. I’ve been there, standing over a shot, wiping a wet cotton rag across my grooves, watching it smear dirt instead of lifting it. That’s when I finally made the switch … Read more

I’ll be honest, I was a skeptic. Magnetic golf towels seemed like one of those gadgets that look cool in an Instagram ad but end up in the bottom of your bag after a round. The first one I tried flew off the cart on the third hole and landed in a puddle. I almost … Read more

I remember my first few rounds of golf like they were yesterday. I’d grab the nearest bath towel from the linen closet, fold it up, and shove it in my bag. By hole seven, it was a wet, lint-covered, smelly mess draped over my clubs. It took up space, weighed a ton, and left fuzz … Read more
