You know the feeling. You’re halfway through your backswing, and you feel that familiar shift. Your sunglasses slide down your nose. You either abort the swing or try to adjust mid-motion. Either way, the shot is ruined. It’s one of those small frustrations that adds up over eighteen holes. I’ve been there more times than … Read more
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of a perfectly grooved golf swing. You rotate, you unload, and you watch the ball launch into the sky. Then you feel it. Your sunglasses start sliding down your nose. You either live with the blur, or you risk yanking your drive into the trees using your glove hand … Read more
You hit a great drive, walk up to your ball, pull out your sunglasses… and they’re covered in sweat or morning dew before you can even line up the putt. It breaks your focus. The frustration of smearing a lens for the tenth time in a row is enough to throw off your entire round. … Read more
If you’re fighting the shanks, you already know it’s partly a mental battle. But here’s what I’ve noticed after too many rounds on sun-blasted fairways: visual distractions amplify the problem. That harsh glare bouncing off the grass or a hazy white sky can mess with your alignment just enough to throw off your tempo. I … Read more
I was on the 12th tee at my home course, a coastal track that’s always exposed. The sun was blinding, and a gust came off the water. My eyes started watering instantly. You know the feeling. You’re walking up the fairway on the back nine, you wipe your forehead, and your sunglasses slide halfway down your nose. You push them back up. Three holes later, you’re doing it again. By the 18th, you’ve either given up and taken them off or you’re so frustrated you’re ready to … Read more
You know the feeling. You’re in the middle of your backswing, weight shifting, hips rotating, and just as you reach the top, your sunglasses slip. Not dramatically, just enough to break your concentration. Or worse, they pinch your temples by the 15th hole and you spend the last three holes squinting instead of focusing on … Read more
You step up to your putt. You square the face. And then you see it — a mirror reflection of your own eye staring back at you from the lens. You can’t see the break. You force the putt. You miss. That moment is why I started looking for golf sunglasses with anti reflective coating … Read more
I spent two years thinking I just wasn’t good at reading greens. I’d stand over a 10-footer, see a gentle left-to-right slide, hit my line, and watch the ball roll dead straight past the hole. It wasn’t my stroke. It was my sunglasses. Standard polarized lenses do something weird to grass. They strip away the … Read more
If you have a low nose bridge, you know the exact moment of panic. You’re standing over the ball, driver in hand, and you feel it — the slow, inevitable slide of your sunglasses down your nose. By the time you reach the top of your backswing, they’re sitting on your cheeks. By impact, you’re … Read more
